International Student Application Requirements
International students applying to attend Washburn University (WU) on an F-1 or J-1 visa are required to complete a separate application process for both the university and the MAcc program. The university admission process is through the Office of International Programs, and the MAcc application process is through the School of Business. Only one online application form is required, and the link can be found at the bottom of this page.
If you have any questions regarding the university application process for international students, please contact international@washburn.edu.
The Washburn MAcc program examines each application on a holistic basis that includes educational background, work history, letter of recommendation and other applicant-specific qualifications that suggest you would be a good MAcc program candidate. This admissions process has allowed Washburn to consistently attract top students with a wide range of backgrounds. Fully-admitted students are not required to take graduate entrance exams such as the GMAT and GRE. Business background students, including non-accounting majors, are encouraged to apply.
